About a month ago, I read an article about Earth Day and the Earth Hour which was on the 28Th of March between 8.30pm to 9.30pm. This was to take the vote of the people on who supports the environment. This article was written by the Channel News Asia and was published on the newspaper "Today" a day after Earth Day. I really liked this article as it helped me to expand my knowledge based on the Environment. In this article, many suggestions were given on how to spend time without turning on the lights on Earth Hour. Suggestions like having a candlelight dinner were given and things like organising a treasure hunt were suggested. The best part of this article for me was the purpose of Earth Hour. The main purpose of Earth Hour was to gather 1 billion vote of the people by their light switch. The vote will then be presented at the Global Climate Change Conference where world leaders will meet to decide on a new action plan to replace the Kyoto Protocol. Now, it is getting late, I shall go now. My fellow readers, I hope you enjoyed my post today. I will return soon to post on more about my experiences.
