Hey all!!! As you can see I have changed my blogskin. All I can say that it was a very tough progress but I made it through. I was suppose to blog about the Perak trip a few days ago but I became too busy as I had another camp. My Girl Guides unit camp.
Perak Trip: I can't believe I survived Earth Camp. It was awesome. When I say I can't believe I really can't believe cause the safety was really not that safe and at times I felt that one wrong step could kill me. On the first day, we started a really long trip about 8 hours to the camp. On the way, we stopped for breakfast and I decided to order cheese prata along with my other friends and on the board was written chess prata. It was actually quite funny.
When we arrived at the Earth Camp, we settled down then we headed to play some games.
The first day was not really very interesting.
The real fun started on the second day when we went into a cave. It was so twisty and turny. After we climbed so much we reached a flying fox area. It was eighty metres high. At first I was like super confident after all I am spiderkid. But when my turn came I was totally chicken we had to climb to the the area and the area was totally narrow. I was so scared then I asked this guide whose name was ashley, an american. I was like can you help me then she was like you will have to come up to do this. Kinda unrelated. right??? When I was going to do the flying fox and I strapped to the harnas, I had to climb down this rock... I was extremely scared if I were to miss a footing I would hang eighty metre high.. Just the thought scares me. Overall the flying fox super scary. Then on the way down, we went through this jungle route which was so muddy the moment you stand up you would fall. That is how my shoe got spoilt. After all this, the day was not over, we still had to do an obstacle course. At first, I chickened out but Khuza and Fahtin helped me through the entire thing. Thanks Peeps!!! The second obstacle course I climbed up, but then I saw so many red ants that I became really scared. At times, I feel like I should have done these course.
Day Three: Awesome is not enough to describe it. We went into different cave which full of water. So fun. There were actually times when only my head was out of the water. After we came out of the cave we went back to camp cleaned up and off we were back to Singapore.
Two things I gained from this camp, I don't think I am that scared of heights and lots of experience.
One more thing I learnt how to laugh loud by Shaleni and Celes.
Thank you all friends for the great experience!!!!
PS: Do read Netya's blog for a more detailed version of our experiences.
